Facilities and Amenities
Sunset Lakes residents enjoy access to a clubhouse and recreation center that is second to none. Located inside the clubhouse are a large community room, a fitness center and aerobics studio, a kid's club and a billiards room. On the expansive deck, that is surrounded by the facilities of the clubhouse, is a tropical resort-style swimming pool with five 25m lanes for training, a children's wading pool and a lakeside shade pavilion. Nearby, on the shores of the north lake, residents can also take advantage of recreational facilities that include a lakeside beach and beach pavilion, a sand volleyball court, a children's tot lot, a basketball court, and a tennis center that features 8 lighted tennis courts.
The Community Club is a well appointed, elegant facility that can accommodate up to 150 guests in a variety of settings. The Community Club features a large kitchen with full-line appliances and convenient pass-thru windows to an expansive covered patio.
The Community Club is available for rental between the following hours:
Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 12:00am Midnight
Friday - Saturday, 9:00am - 1:00am
Sunday's, 9:00am - 11:00pm
150 people including the use of the covered patio with 7 patio tables and 4 chairs per table.

* Only residents of Sunset Lakes can rent the Community Club.
* Residents MUST be current on their maintenance fees in order to rent the facilities.

The Fitness Center is equipped with treadmills, steppers, stationary bikes, a rower, weight machines and free weights, all set up with a panoramic view of the lake. Men's and ladies' locker rooms are equipped with showers and saunas and an aerobics studio is located adjacent to the fitness center.

With views overlooking the magnificent lighthouse lake, the 8 lighted tennis courts including 6 Har-Tru and 2 hard surface courts provide the perfect setting for players of all levels. The tennis facility includes shade pavilions for all courts, a main tennis pavilion and a viewing area in a pristine setting. The Tennis center has hosted USTA sanctioned events and its popularity remains a focal point of the Sunset Lakes community.

Monday – Sunday, 8:00AM – 10:00PM,
Please reserve a court before heading out to play; players without reservations must register with Rick or Rod at the Tennis Pro Shop located next to court #1.

In-House Leagues
It does not matter whether you are a complete beginner or and advanced player; the Tennis Center has in-house leagues for men and women of all skill levels. Call the Tennis Center at 954-610-4819 or 954-789-0293 for more information or to sign up.
USA League Tennis or Youth Leagues
We are looking for players of all levels to field teams in different age categories. If you are interested in joining USA Tennis, a youth league or being part of the Sunset Lakes Team, please contact the Tennis Center at 954-789-0293.
Free Tennis Clinics
Join us on the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 am to 11:00 am for our monthly complimentary tennis clinic. Please call the Tennis Center at 954-789-0293 to register. Sign up is a must.

The Kid's Club is a large, brightly appointed facility with kid sized tables and seating. The Kid's Club is available for rental between the following hours:
Monday - Thursday, 9:00am - 12:00am Midnight
Friday - Saturday, 9:00am - 1:00am
Sunday's - 9:00am - 11:00pm
The Kids Club maximum capacity is 70 people.
